After much trial and error, (and error and trial) we are thrilled to offer the following options for Glass Fusing - the newest and hottest form of create your own art in a time starved world.

So you know what you are getting into, here is a quick glance of how it works:

Step 1:

You select a base piece of flat glass from a variety of sizes:  4", 6", 8" Square or 6" and 8" Round

Step 2:

You pick out the color theme and design ideas and we help you score and cut the glass... it is a SNAP!

Step 3:

You adhere your design to the base piece as you wish and leave it for us to fuse in our kiln, (planned for each Tuesday).

Step 4:

After it has been fused, (i.e. fired one time) you decide to either leave your piece flat or leave it for us for another firing to take a special shape in a mold or bisque form.  This added step is called, "slumping" glass, (planned for each Friday).

This art experience is safe, fun and most importantly, really cool so it is a perfect fit in our creative line up.

The prices of your glass fusing project vary, mostly dependent upon the size of the base piece and how fancy you make it. 

There are options to add an extra layer of glass or individually priced add ons like dichroic glass, or special "cut ups" - which are preformed in swirls, hearts, butterflies, etc.  The additional layer and options are just that, "optional" and NOT necessary to complete a very cool project.  We are pleased to offer them for those ready and interested to push their creative ability to the next level.

Cut ups and dichroic glass is individually priced in the Studio and range from $3 - $6 depending upon shape and size.

12" square -base price is $52 + optional $9

6" round - base price is $20  + optional $5

Our firing schedule for glass is as follows:

All glass will be regularly fused on Tuesday, each week, unless otherwise noted.

All glass projects to be slumped will be completed on Friday, each week, unless otherwise noted.

THE BONUS FEATURE OF GLASS PROJECTS IS THAT ALL COSTS ARE SHOWN- I.E. STUDIO FEES THAT APPLY TO POTTERY AND MOSAICS DO NOT APPLY TO GLASS PROJECTS.
